Seems a lifetime ago now but back in 2020-21, I did the design and writing for one of Cosmic Void's games (he's now gone on to create about a million games, I will never be anything like as prolific!!) This is a first-person perspective psychological thriller set in Victorian times, in which your family has disappeared during a camping holiday and the only sign of habitation for miles is a mysterious country house...
The game is designed to be accessible to players of all abilities, with puzzles probably on the easier side if you're a real adventure game aficionado. There is an emphasis on strong storytelling and interesting characters. It's not a huge game and will probably take you 2-4 hours to complete, depending on how much you check out everything and how quickly you work out the puzzle solutions.
It's a very different game tonally to what I normally design, and I tried very hard to ground the storyline and puzzles to reality, despite some obviously unusual circumstances and events.
